Pomodoro Method

The Pomodoro Method is a studying technique that follows a 25-5 schedule. you do 25 minutes of work followed by a 5 minute break. The goal of this method is to improve focus and productivity by taking to not tire yourself out.

There are variations of the Pomodoro method where you increase your work period by 5 minutes after every break. The theory behind this variation is that you can slowly ease your way into spending more time on work

The Break

One mistake many people make when using the pomodoro method is how they spend their 25 minute break. Reaching to your phone seems like a great way to take a break after 25 minutes of studying however, using your phone can often times stimulate your mind so much that you become more tired. Your ‘break’ has now only made you tired and wanting to continue to just endlessly scroll.

Instead of going on your phone here are some better ideas of break for the pomodoro technique.
